Establishment of Christopher K. Varvias & Associates S.A.

1991

Western Union® Financial Services Inc. becomes a shareholder of the Christopher K. Varvia & Associates SA by 25%

2004

Christopher K. Varvias & Associates S.A. obtains License for Payment Institution and is renamed WorldBridge S.A.

2014

Our services’ portfolio expands with additional services such as Bill Payments

2017

PayLink enables the online money transfer service via web and mobile applications

2020

PayLink offers additional payment options for bill payment service, like payout by debit/credit card.

Introduction of Western Union Money Transfer services to the Greek market headed by Christoforos Varvias - founder of DINERS CLUB in Greece and pioneer of credit/debit cards

2001

Services portfolio expands to new financial products and services

2011

PayLink is added as a trademark for Worldbridge Payment Institution

2016

PayLink launches the innovative online payment method PayByBank in the Greek market.

2018

PayLink launches two new digital applications for online and mobile money transfers.
